The Black Samurai HMPK Betta is one of the most eye-catching Betta varieties available, prized for its deep jet-black body layered with thick, iridescent metallic scales in silver to white tones. This “dragon scale” armor catches the light beautifully, giving each fish a bold, almost battle-ready appearance that lives up to the Samurai name. As an HMPK (Halfmoon Plakat), it combines the short, muscular, compact body of a Plakat with the wide, fan-like tail spread of a Halfmoon when flared, making it a favorite among both new hobbyists and serious Betta keepers.
